I just found out that I might be allergic to Blistex lip balm. The one with color.
I just bought a tube yesterday and woke up with dry and itchy lips.
I'm also allergic to Chap Stick. Argh.
So far I'm not allergic to Nivea, Kiehl's tinted lip balm and lip balm #1, and Hawaiian Tropic.
I don't like Kiehl's much because it's greasy. And it tastes like wax.
I don't like the Body Shop ones because they're messy to put on (it gets under my nails). And they're too expensive.

What's the big deal?
I can't live without lip balm because my lips get dry easily. :(

Mr. Henry Ganancial, our first year T.H.E. teacher, is in need of a kidney transplant and the financial resources to fund it. He is no longer employed by Miriam. As I understand it, the school couldn't afford to shoulder his health expenses. Our batch (pink '98) is mobilizing to help him, and there may be other batches as well. Please spread the word among the MCHS
alumni community through your own networks and e-groups.

We're just starting to get organized, so I don't have more details for you yet. Anyway, hope we can all help. Ana (Aquino) suggested that we organize caroling this Christmas to raise funds for the dialysis he will most likely have to undergo.

OKAY. On to the nakakaimbiyernang stuff. There's no other word for it: IMBIYERNA TALAGA.

My boss texted me at 3 in the morning to tell me that the PTC that was originally scheduled today should be moved to Aug 24 because of the typhoon. Or "typhoon". So I texted all the parents of my students, being the responsible teacher I am, that PTC was cancelled.

Then I sleep. At 6 AM, I receive this text message: "We have to push through with PTC today." WE HAVE TO. Okay, panic mode. It was 6 AM, the PTC was scheduled to start at 8. I had to take a bath, iron my clothes... when I find something decent to wear. I mean, I'm going to be facing the people who are paying me, right?

Okay. I knew I was going to stay until the afternoon because of the two shifts I'm handling. Fine, no problem with that. I just had to get breakfast and lunch and I'm good to go. It was too late too cook anything. So I pass by Jollibee to get my food. I felt really groggy in the car so I also dropped by Starbucks to get coffee. Caramel macchiato with an extra shot of espresso (or whatever you call it). Then I go to work...

ONLY TO FIND THE SCHOOL FUCKING DESERTED. Only Teacher * and her daughter were there. No secretaries, no maintenance staff, no other teachers... no boss. Just the three of us. Apparently, the boss just canceled it. And I didn't even get a text. My partner called the school a few minutes before I arrived, so she got the news and was about to text me when Teacher Joy told me what happened.

There you go: I spent MY MONEY for gas, lunch, breakfast, and overpriced coffee. Oh yeah, the constant text messages sent to the parents cost money too. 600-700 pesos. Also known as puta, pera ko yan ah! Salamat lang talaga sa pagbago bago ng plano!

Ayon. So, IMBIYERNA TALAGA. I couldn't say it enough, it was a bad morning. I had about 2 hours' worth of sleep (I really didn't think we had to go to work so I abused the free time), and now I have 2 shots worth of concentrated coffee in my system. I am screwed.

Still, I'm happy. :) I visited my cousin when I got home and I was greeted by a big fat hug from the cutest baby boy in the world. Obvious na ba ang favoritism? :D And then, I'm going to Trinoma in a while. Oo nakakasawa man, katapat lang yan ng street namin. IT'S CALLING ME! Haha. I also bought a new frosting/pastry bag tip and disposable pastry bag last night. NEW TOYS! I shall go on a baking spree over the long weekend. Later, I will meet up with Nix. Life is good. Tiring but good enough!

Hay trabaho. Lagi ko kinocomplain na PUCHA AMBABA NG SWELDO KO! Totoo naman kasi (at hindi ko sinasabi yon dahil hindi ko mabili ang gusto ko, kundi dahil hindi ko maramdamang kaya ko mag ipon sa sweldong nakukuha ko). Pero napaisip ako. Masaya naman ako sa ginagawa ko. Merong stress, marami! Pero, nakakatuwa yung ilang oras na kasama ko yung mga bata. Nakakatuwa na nagtatanong sila tungkol sa mga bagay na ginagawa ko. Ibig sabihin, interesado silang matuto. :) Plus, nakakatuwa yung mga sinasabi nila, tulad nito:

naiinis ako, 2 weeks na akong inuubo/sipon, tapos ngayon, may lagnat na ako. nakakainis pa, observation/evaluation week ng teachers ngayon, tas yung boss ko hindi ako binisita kahapon o ngayon. meaning, pwede pa bukas o sa friday. meaning, she's fucking prolonging the agony. hindi kaya nakakatuwa, dahil ang hirap na mag-gather ng lakas para sumayaw sayaw habang may sakit ka. syempre, kelangan sumunod sayo yung students mo.

kaso mukhang kelangan ko na nga mag absent bukas dahil nilalagnat na ako, at baka may maikalat pa akong epidemya sa mga estudyante ko. kahit sa kanila ko na nakuha yung germs. hehe. tapos ang saya pa naman ng plano ko bukas! boo. :(

hmmm. maglakwatsa kaya ako bukas? :D kaso yung pera ko mababawasan na naman, tapos maguiguilty ako dahil bawas din sa sweldo yung pag absent ko. so... PAPASOK NA LANG AKO BUKAS. kayanin kaya ng katawan ko? nakakainis kasi hindi naman ako sakitin pero sa oras na nagkasakit ako, matagal na gumaling. NOT NICE.

I'm happy because my students were in a good mood today, and I didn't lose my patience with Keith even if he was throwing tantrums earlier, and that the students were eager to listen to what I had to teach them. *gloat gloat gloat*
